| Cross Country starts at 9:00 a.m. to Noon – Begins with a Hill Climb behind the Lift House Bar and Grill, at the bottom of the “Face” (corner of Pioneer St. and River St.). – Race Elevation begins at 8,800 ft. and ascends to approximately 10,300 ft. The XC race is a double looped five mile course with a 1,600 vertical foot climb. This course has a three to eight percent grade, with both single track and improved jeep trails that run beneath the Platinum ski lift. This is a beautiful challenging course that will bring the extreme mountain biker out of anyone! Each category must complete the required loops to meet their mileage requirement. |
| Sprint starts at 1:00 p.m. – Begins at the base of the Platinum ski lift at approximately 8,800 ft. You will sprint up Prospector’s Trail to Gold Blvd. looping back down to Platinum Blvd. The sprint goes through approximately one mile of the Red River Ski Area. |
