Description: This year marks the 31th annual celebration of one of the hottest motorcycle rallies in northern New Mexico. Red River is one of the most popular tourist destinations due to its scenic location and great climate. Centrally located in the beautiful north central mountains of New Mexico, Red River is the closest resort area to Texas and Oklahoma, as well as a short drive from Southern Colorado. At 8,750 feet above sea level, Red River is perched high in the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range and surrounded by 1.5 million acres of the Carson National Forest.

Description: Reconnect with family and loved ones this summer while cruising approximately 1,600 vertical feet to the top of Red River Ski Area. Participate in a game of disc golf, strap your mountain bikes to the back of the triple chair, unload, and cruise down the mountain on a variety of trails, hike around Red River Ski Area and have lunch at the Lift House Bar and Grill or at Ski Tip Restaurant (located at the top of the ski area), or just catch a round trip ride and enjoy the simplicity of the Mountains.

This simple enjoyment includes breathtaking views of: Carson National Forest, The Town of Red River, New Mexico native vegetation, and grasses. Your senses will be enlighten with the fresh the scent of wildflowers, crisp mountain air, sounds of gurgling streams, wild birds, the gentle mountain breeze, and more.

Prior to arrival remember to dress in layers as temperatures shall very, apply plenty of bug spray and sunscreen, have plenty of water, proper shoes for hiking, and rain resistant gear.
