This trail is a 5½-mile loop through the Enchanted Forest Cross-country and Snowshoe Area. The number of laps is based on your level of expertise.  Expect some serious climbs, some sharp turns and finish it off down Face Flop Drop.

 

28th Annual Enchanted Circle Century Bike Tour & Expo

 

Sunday September 11th, 2005

The Tour starts here in Red River at 8am Sunday Morning in front of Town
Hall. The route is from Red River to Questa to Taos, to Angel Fire, through Angel Fire to Black Lake and back out through Angel Fire, to Eagle Nest and back to Red River. We will have 5 rest stops, 3-5 sag wagons and EMS driving the circle. Your elevation starts at 8750ft in Red River, down to 7500 ft in Questa, 7000 ft in Taos, up to approximately 9000 in the pass between Taos and Angel Fire and back down before you go back up to Bobcat Pass at 9820ft and then glide back down into Red River.

This is a scenic, high altitude, alpine ride through the beautiful mountains of the Carson National Forest.
